This lamp appeared on eBay in July 2005, lamp not Bandalasta but shade is.

"No. 17. This article is a further example of the encroachment of plastics on to the glass and china trades, it being a moulded lamp-shade which has been decorated by the transfer process recently produced by Messrs. Streetly Manufacturing Co. Ltd., of Streetly, near Birmingham. The lamp-shade itself is actually moulded by Messrs. Brooks [sic] and Adams, of Birmingham. Hitherto a serious limitation of plastic mouldings has been the impossibility of achieving pictorial effects, and the incorporation of designs in colour forming an integral part of the mouldings themselves should open up many wide new outlets for the industry. We understand the British Cyanides Co. Ltd. have expressed their readiness to discuss the development of the process with representatives of the moulding industry, and we feel sure that many progressive firms will avail themselves of this offer. The fact that this interesting development has been originated by a British manufacturer provides support for the view of overseas visitors as to the advanced position now reached by the moulding industry in this country, and we hope that, as a result of the offer of The British Cyanides Co. Ltd. to make their process available to the trade, rapid progress will be made with the decoration of plastic products, and that the British Industries Fair, 1931, will see a notable extension in this direction."
